Dovetail: June Construction Update

Momentum continues to build on-site at Dovetail as our team pushes forward with notable construction progress across both buildings. With each passing month, we move closer to welcoming homeowners to this vibrant, amenity-rich community in New Braunfels.

Since May, several major phases have been completed. On the East building, board and batten siding and stone veneer are now fully installed, giving the exterior its signature character. Inside, gypsum concrete has been poured, and cabinet and countertop installations are now well underway. Meanwhile, over in the West building, drywall installation is complete, and the texture phase is progressing. Across the entire site, the pool has been excavated and soil stabilization has been finalized—an exciting step toward future amenity activation.

Currently, interior finish work is in full swing. In the East building, our crews are installing cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, and bathroom tile, while trim outs for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems are actively progressing. Simultaneously, board and batten siding is underway on the West building, and gypsum concrete pours are now in motion there as well.
